Pressure Plate / Clutch Pad
Commonly referred to as the crank assemblies clutch pad.
This plate rides between the ratchet wheel sprocket and chain drive sprocket in chain driven systems. In direct drive systems it rest between the ratchet wheel and drive shaft plate.
When the system is compressed together, this friction pad engages the pawl and suspends the roof when cranking is stopped.
PRO TIP : If your direct drive system's ratchet pawl is not engaging the ratchet wheel, stack an extra clutch pad to make up the difference. Doing so will move the ratchet wheel forward, and not negatively affect the performance of the system.
Measures 2 inches outside diameter. 5/8 of an inch inside diameter.
